Steve brings over 25 years of experience in the global fencing market, with a proven track record of delivering value to customers and driving growth through high-performing teams. His career includes leadership roles with one of New Zealand’s largest electric fencing brands, a key part in the original Euro Corporation team, and time with a national rural supplies company, each chapter deepening his knowledge of the industry and sharpening his focus on exceptional customer outcomes.

Now back with the Summit Steel family, Steve leads our customer-facing team both in New Zealand and across the international markets we serve. Passionate about the fencing industry and its future, Steve is driven to ensure that Summit Steel & Wire continues to set the standard in quality, service, and innovation.

Known for his energy and team-first mindset, Steve is a natural coach who thrives on helping people grow and succeed. He believes that strong relationships and a deep understanding of customers are the keys to long-term success.

Outside of work, Steve is married to Phoebe and is a proud dad. His daughter is a talented musical theatre performer, and his son is training to become a future educator. A self-professed adrenaline junkie, you will often find him chasing thrills on the mountain bike trails or snowboarding slopes when he is not at work.
Chris Barbour
Territory Manager - International Markets
Chris joined the Summit team in September 2024 as Export Territory Manager and is based in the Christchurch office. With 20 years of experience in shipping & logistics in NZ and AU, Chris is well-equipped to look after our export customers. His strong customer service focus contributes to Summit's growth and continued success in overseas markets, primarily the EU and Asia.

In his spare time, he loves to get out on the golf course, exercise at the gym, and spend time with his young family. Life is always busy with his son's rugby & basketball commitments, and his daughter's Highland Dancing competitions. He also enjoys reading, eating good food, and motorsport.
Steve Gee
Territory Manager - Upper South Island Markets
Steve has been with Euro Corporation since 2021 and is based at our Christchurch factory where all our wire fencing products are manufactured. Steve is responsible for the Upper South Island domestic sales. With over a decade of Account Management experience, his mantra is always putting the customer first, ensuring Summit Steel & Wire goes above and beyond to deliver the desired outcome.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. Take
every opportunity to be outdoors and explore all the wonderful experiences New Zealand has to offer. Steve is an avid sports fan and volunteers his time to coaching his sons’ sports teams as well as a local Division 1 rugby team in Christchurch.
Aaron Tozer
Sales Manager - NZ Sales
Aaron joined the Summit team in 2023 and is based at our Christchurch office. Aaron is responsible for our sales of wire fencing products into the NZ markets. This includes overseeing our key account relationships with our rural merchant partners. With a decade of Sales Management / Account Management experience under his belt, he has always been committed to customers achieving optimum results through high service levels.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending as much time with his young family as possible. A sports fan by nature he takes every opportunity to get out on the golf course, up the mountain snowboarding, or partake in anything sports or outdoors related.
